hendakmoon,
Not sure if you're trying to be sarcastic about my advice or not but if you are, here's some more advice.

Go to a place with frogs and tie a 5' piece of monofilament line to the end of a stick, or use a short fishing rod. On the end of the line put a small fishing fly. Walk slowly along the waters edge and when you see a frog slowly lower the fishing fly in front of the frog. Wiggle it a little (the fly, not a part of your body) if you don't get results immediately. Now lift the end of the rod or stick and remove the frog.

Oh, after you try this, if you were trying to be sarcastic with your post apologies accepted.

You're right, I thought you were pulling my leg...and apologies for the sarcastic response.  I was joking with a friend the night before about how I should set up a frog blind and call them in, then I got you're post about "fishing" for them and had to share the humor.  You've really been successful with this method?  It gives me a different approach to try for frogs on the water's edge that usually just hop in and disappear...Thanks for the tips and best of luck in your fishing endeavors!
