Missouri River (ND Lower Portion) - Saturday, March 31, 2012

Three of us started out at the sugar loaf boat ramp fishing right by the landing waiting for our forth guy to show up. For the first hour or so of the morning we had no fish, no bite, nothing. We picked up our forth guy and went about a mile south of the ramp, in about 8-10 fow we would catch one about every second pass over the area we fished, that slowed down. So we went about 2 miles further down river and fished with about 200 of our fellow fishing buddies. We caught a few more and finished the day with 15 in the livewell between that 17 - 21 inch range.
Overall a great day, hope the fishing stays this good as we are going again a few weeks for a 3 day slaughter.

We used jigs and minnows. the dead rods caught just as many as the ones we were jigging. Orange seemed to be the hot color.
