'10 Turkey Day Archery whitetail
Took this deer on Thanksgiving afternoon... good mass & spread.. an old Little Knife monarch... I had a good day in the blind....

Nice looking buck! Congrats on a sweet bow kill! The kill is the satisfying, indeed essential, conclusion to a successful hunt. But, I take no pleasure in the act itself. Re:Recurve is on my bowrack...took a year off from the Traditional shooting.. to save my shoulders for future years .. seen too many archers with busted up shoulders from back to back to back years of shooting.. I want to still be able to shoot a recurve when Im 55 years old.. the compound in the pic.. is a Diamond Black Ice by Bowtech set at sixty pounds..be patient ill have a pic with the recurve in it......
